Edoardo Narduzzi is an Italian serial entrepreneur, writer and journalist based in London.
Prior to founding SelfieWealth, the first fully automated robo advisor to be authorised by the UK’s FCA, Edoardo has had a long and successful career launching tech companies. Since the 1990’s he has launched or co-founded a number of firms including: NETikos, a leading group in mobile VAS with annual revenues of 25mln euro, then sold to an IT multinational; ProxyItalia, the first Italian proxy collection company sold to Computershare; Techedge Spa, a company now present in 12 countries around the world and with a turnover of 200 million euros and listed on the Italian stock exchange and Mashfrog – an international group focused on digital innovation with annual revenues of 30 million euro. He is also a founding member and shareholder of Vetrya, listed in 2016 on Italian AIM.
Edoardo has received four degrees from Italian universities and LBS, Warwick and Harvard KSG in finance, business and economics.
Nick is CEO of SelfieWealth UK Limited, Nick also serves as a Director and Non-Executive Director on a number of Financial Services company’s boards. Previously, Nick was at Citigroup where he held a number of key senior management positions. Nick was lastly the EMEA Head of Investor Services and Direct Clearance & Custody Services within the Citigroup Investment Bank where he was responsible for services and personnel across 32 countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Previously at Citigroup, Nick had created and managed the Global Prime Finance, Delta One & Futures/OTC divisions within the Capital Markets division.
Prior to Citigroup, Nick was Global Head of Prime Finance at Deutsche Bank AG from 1998 and before that worked for 12 years at Morgan Stanley where he was heavily involved in the formation of the Equity Synthetic Derivative group in 1992,followed by the development of the International Prime Brokerage platform from 1994.
In 2010, Nick was inducted into Global Custodian’s ‘Hall of Legends’ and has served on many industry advisory boards including AIMA, ATP Arbejdsmarkedets Tillægspension (the state pension fund of Denmark), and was Chairman of Citigroup Investment Deutschland KAG from 2006-2009.
Suling is the COO of SelfieWealth UK Ltd. Previously, Suling worked at Citigroup in the Investor Services business where she held a number of senior positions within Business Advisory, Product Development, Client Service and Sales. Her responsibilities included designing, developing and delivering solutions for some of Citi’s largest asset management and hedge fund clients as well as working on the cross industry group defining the solution to the roll out of AIFMD.
Prior to that, Suling worked at Morgan Stanley in International Prime Brokerage. During that time, Suling worked in Business Consulting and Sales and Marketing working alongside colleagues in New York, Chicago, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore. Her primary focus was start up hedge fund clients as well as fund of funds and large asset managers. In addition, Suling has published works on how to start a hedge fund, AIFMD and UCITS as well as being an experienced panellist and moderator at industry conferences.
Dr Daniele Bianchi
Daniele is an Assistant Professor in the Finance Group at the Warwick Business School, University of Warwick where he has worked since 2014. He was awarded a Ph.D. by the Department of Finance at Bocconi University in Spring 2014. He has been a visiting scholar at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in the US, and at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon. His research interests span Machine Learning and Bayesian methods, as well as empirical asset pricing and financial econometrics.
His research has been presented at conferences organized by the American Economic Association (AEA), the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), the Econometric Society, the European Finance Association (EFA), the Royal Economic Society (RES), the European Economic Association (EEA), the Society for Economic Dynamics (SED), the Society for Financial Econometrics (SoFiE), and the Society for Financial Studies (SFS). His main publications include the Journal of Econometrics, the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, and the Journal of Financial Econometrics.
Dr. Bianchi started collaborating with SelfieWealth in 2017 as a consultant for the development of the machine learning platform and the proprietary algorithmic procedures. He became a member of the board of directors in 2018.
